Installation invokes postinstall.mjs, which invokes the installer in commands-only mode. For an existing setup, it modifies global Claude Code MCP configuration and settings, registering hooks across prompt, tool, session, and stop events, and adds allowlisted MCP tools. This persists package-controlled code execution in the AI-agent control surface without an explicit install-time user command.
