Policy narrative

During a global installation, the postinstall hook resolves the npm prefix and unconditionally removes the existing POSIX codex launcher, replacing it with a symlink to this package. On Windows it writes replacement cmd and PowerShell launchers. This can replace an existing official or otherwise unrelated Codex command and persistently redirect subsequent agent CLI use.

Rationale

The package has a concrete install-time mutation of a foreign global AI-agent command surface. Its lack of observed exfiltration reduces scope but does not remove the command-hijack risk.
