During a global install, postinstall derives the npm prefix, deletes `<prefix>/bin/codex` on POSIX, and replaces it with a symlink to its own entrypoint. The package namespace differs from the official `@openai` package yet its source explicitly identifies `@openai/codex`, making this an unconsented replacement of a foreign AI-agent command surface.

Rationale

The install hook performs a destructive, automatic replacement of the global `codex` launcher rather than relying on the package manager's normal bin linking. This meets the install-time foreign AI-agent control-surface hijack block boundary.
