Attack narrative

The package's postinstall hook runs on global installation. It delegates to code that fetches install scripts from an unpinned main-branch URL and immediately executes them with sh or PowerShell. This makes the remote repository content part of the install-time execution chain. On macOS, the same flow overwrites an application in the user's Applications directory and removes its quarantine attribute.
