Policy narrative

On npm installation, the postinstall script fetches a platform-specific executable from mutable release URLs and writes it under `vendor/`. It immediately runs that opaque executable with `--install-agent-hooks`; the package documentation states this installs Codex and Claude Code completion hooks and skills for both agents. This creates unconsented install-time modification of broad, foreign AI-agent control surfaces.

Rationale

The package’s own source establishes an install-time chain from remote executable download to automatic Codex/Claude hook setup. That matches the blocking policy even though the JavaScript itself does not show credential exfiltration.
