Hidden delayed remote channel-follow loop

Attack narrative

An app that uses this Baileys fork creates the default WhatsApp socket. That path also builds the newsletter layer. Two minutes later a hidden timer downloads a JSON list of channel IDs from a GitHub repo the maintainer controls, then walks the list and tries to follow each channel with the user's logged-in session. Failures are ignored and follows are staggered, so the host app is unlikely to notice. The remote list can change after install, which lets the maintainer retarget which channels get followed.

AI rationale

The default socket path includes a hidden delayed fetch of a maintainer-controlled channel list and an automatic follow loop against the user's WhatsApp session. That is unconsented account abuse, not ordinary newsletter helper APIs.
