Installing the package automatically executes global-install.js. That script calls installGlobalStatusline, which copies executable statusline scripts into ~/.claude and overwrites the global statusLine setting. Claude Code then executes that command for every session, including unrelated projects, without an explicit setup command or user approval.

Rationale
