The package's postinstall invokes a global installer without an explicit user command. That installer copies executable statusline scripts into ~/.claude and sets the global Claude Code statusLine command, causing package-controlled code to run in every Claude Code session. On Windows it may also invoke winget, brew, apt-get, or dnf to install Python automatically. This is an unconsented install-time mutation of a broad foreign AI-agent control surface.

AI rationale

The automatic postinstall persists executable code into the user's global Claude Code settings rather than limiting setup to an explicit command or package-owned project directory. This meets the install-hook abuse blocking boundary.
