Policy narrative

The package declares postinstall, which starts a detached Codeman server by default. On startup it restores saved sessions and adds Codeman command hooks to the .claude/settings.local.json files of linked workspaces. Those hooks forward Claude hook input to the Codeman API and can be re-added after removal. Although the API is normally local and guarded, this is unconsented install-time mutation of a foreign AI-agent control surface.

Rationale

The package crosses the block boundary because postinstall automatically starts a process that can modify foreign Claude workspace controls. The local destination and safety checks reduce exposure but do not remove the unconsented lifecycle mutation. Product guard normalized a concrete AI-agent control hijack publish_block to the blockable dangerous-capability shape.
