calculatorscool346@1.0.1
Opens the Windows Calculator when this package is installed.
AI Security Review
scanned 7d ago · by lpm-firewall-aiThis version combines a self-dependency and an automatic postinstall hook with heavily obfuscated code that launches a child process. The advertised Calculator action does not make the hidden install-time command verifiable, so this meets the self-dependency/install-hook abuse rule.
Decision evidence
public snapshot- The package runs `node index.js` automatically in its postinstall hook.
- The package declares a runtime dependency on itself (`calculatorscool346: ^1.0.0`).
- The entry point wraps its implementation in dynamically constructed, encoded code.
- The obfuscated entry point imports `child_process` and invokes a dynamically named process method during execution.
- The package description says it opens the Windows Calculator when installed, which could explain a process launch.
