Attack narrative

The postinstall hook invokes an installer that copies the bundled luna-loop skill into both Codex and Claude user-level skill directories. It then removes files from those destinations that are not in the package bundle. This occurs without a user setup command. The installed skill contains operational instructions for spawning Codex agents and running Codex CLI commands, so the package establishes a persistent, cross-agent instruction channel through automatic installation.

AI rationale

This is an unconsented postinstall mutation of broad foreign AI-agent control surfaces, with destructive synchronization and an installed agent-execution instruction set. It meets the install-hook abuse blocking policy even though no secret exfiltration endpoint was found.
