On installation, npm runs install-skills.mjs. That script copies two bundled skills into both the user's Codex and Claude skill directories, then removes files in those destinations that are not in the bundle. The same automatic lifecycle chain runs prepare-search-deps.mjs, which invokes pip to upgrade and install Python packages in the user environment. This is unconsented postinstall mutation of broad, foreign AI-agent control surfaces.

Rationale

The package has a concrete automatic install-time chain that modifies both Codex and Claude user skill stores and deletes stale destination content. This meets the install-control-surface block threshold even though no credential exfiltration was found in the inspected lifecycle code.
