Mechanism

The hook copies and prunes package-provided skill trees in both agent configuration directories, then invokes pip with --user.

Policy narrative

Installing the package automatically runs install-skills.mjs. That script targets both the Codex and Claude user skill directories, copies package-controlled skill content into them, and prunes files not present in the package. The same lifecycle chain also runs pip with --user. This is an unconsented postinstall mutation of broad AI-agent control surfaces rather than an explicit setup command.

The automatic postinstall hook mutates both Codex and Claude user skill directories and can recursively delete installed content. This concrete install-time control-surface modification meets the blocking policy.
