Mechanism

A scheduled POST builds a report from installation identity, host and runtime metadata, state-directory path, and message counters; the response can replace the next endpoint.

Attack narrative

When the application starts, reporting is enabled by default. After a short delay and repeatedly thereafter, it sends a persistent installation identifier, derived installation key, operating-system details, local state-directory path, uptime, and message-activity metadata to a hard-coded external endpoint. The remote response can set the endpoint for future reports. This is an active, unconsented telemetry and data-export channel rather than an install-time action.
