Mechanism

Postinstall writes cross-host AI-agent configuration and self-update reinstalls the package.

Attack narrative

Installing this package globally invokes postinstall without a separate setup command. The installer copies a skill into several AI-agent hosts, adds a Codex provider, and creates a default child-agent configuration that uses the relay. The installed skill instructs hosts to offload work without operator approval. On later mutating CLI use, the package can automatically install a newer global release, which runs the lifecycle hook again.

Rationale

This is unconsented postinstall mutation of broad, foreign AI-agent control surfaces, combined with instructions that autonomously redirect agent work and a self-update path that repeats the lifecycle. The global-install gate and loopback endpoint do not remove that control-surface risk.
