Execute native compiled binaries from Node.js projects — test runners, CLI tools, build artifacts
Importing the package automatically launches a fixed helper executable from a user-local Programs directory. It also waits for that executable to appear and launches it without an explicit API call.
The package manifest makes index.js run when the package is imported.
