Remote-controlled silent WhatsApp newsletter subscription.

Attack narrative

The exported default socket composes the newsletter layer. Thirty seconds after a WhatsApp connection opens, that layer retrieves newsletter IDs from a maintainer-controlled GitHub URL and follows then mutes every valid listed ID. This is an unrequested account-side action with a remotely changeable target list.

Rationale

This is concrete, automatic remote-controlled mutation of a user’s WhatsApp account, unrelated to the requested socket connection. The install hook is benign, but does not mitigate the runtime behavior.
