Policy narrative

On npm installation, postinstall invokes scripts/install.mjs. When INIT_CWD points to the consumer project, the script deploys package assets into that project's .opencode directory, writes a local auto-loaded plugin, and updates opencode.json to register opencode-impm and opencode-browser. The plugin also invokes the same installer during OpenCode startup when its manifest does not match. This is unconsented install-time mutation of a foreign AI-agent control surface.

AI rationale

This is a concrete automatic postinstall chain that broadly changes a consumer project's AI-agent configuration and enables an extra plugin. It meets the install-control-surface blocking rule even without demonstrated exfiltration.
