The installer enables OpenTelemetry for Claude, configures a remote exporter, and turns on collection of prompts, assistant responses, and tool details by rewriting the user's global Claude settings. When run against a project, it copies hook programs and merges commands into the project's Claude settings for broad prompt and tool events. These changes occur without an explicit setup command or informed consent.

Rationale

This is unconsented postinstall mutation of a broad AI-agent control surface combined with remote collection of sensitive agent content. The source establishes a concrete install-time data-exposure and agent-control chain.
