Policy narrative

During npm installation, the postinstall hook silently runs `warden init --skip-index` in the installer’s current directory. That command registers a Warden MCP server in global and project configs for numerous unrelated AI-agent products, including Codex, and writes managed instruction blocks into project agent-rule files. These changes occur without the user explicitly invoking setup.

Rationale

This is concrete unconsented postinstall mutation of broad, foreign AI-agent control surfaces. The absence of confirmed exfiltration does not mitigate the install-time control-surface hijack.
