Attack narrative

On npm install, the postinstall hook chooses or creates a Claude Desktop configuration file and inserts a Warp MCP command without asking the user. When Claude Desktop later starts that command, the launcher starts the bundled server in the user environment. The server reads the local Warp API-key configuration and uses authenticated requests to Warp services. This creates persistence in a foreign AI-agent control surface from an install-time hook.

Rationale

The package performs unconsented postinstall mutation of a foreign AI-agent configuration and registers an executable server that accesses local credentials. This meets the install-hook abuse blocking boundary even though the observed API host is package-aligned.
