AI Security Review
scanned 9h ago · by lpm-firewall-aiThe package's source upload is disclosed and gated by explicit user consent, and its default gateway is Datadog's service. Shell access is constrained by sensitive-path checks and approval for commands outside the allowlist.
Static reason
No blocking static signals were detected.; previous stored version diff introduced dangerous source
Trigger
The user runs the CLI and agrees to the source code consent prompt; the optional Agent installation runs when selected.
Impact
Expected setup behavior may upload portions of source code and environment data to Datadog after consent; no malicious impact was identified.
Mechanism
The tool sends setup context to Datadog's site-specific gateway. Sensitive workspace paths are blocked, other shell commands require approval, and the optional installer uses Datadog's official host.

Decision evidence
public snapshotAI called this Clean at 91.0% confidence as Benign with low false-positive risk.
Evidence for AI clean decision
- The manifest exposes a CLI and shows build, development, test, preflight, and prepack scripts; no install lifecycle script is declared.
- The default LLM gateway is api.<site>.datadoghq.com, with a user-configurable URL override.
- Before setup, the CLI tells users that portions of source code and environment data will go to Datadog's Generative AI Services and requires them to agree.
- Shell commands outside the small allowlist require approval; commands referencing sensitive paths are blocked.
- The localhost Agent installer downloads its script from install.datadoghq.com.
