AI Security Review
scanned 3mo ago · by lpm-firewall-aiThis is an import-time remote payload loader and execution chain unrelated to the advertised minimal framework module. The absence of lifecycle scripts does not mitigate the reachable runtime RCE.
Static reason
High-risk behavior combination matched malicious policy.; source matched previously finalized malicious package; routed for review
Trigger
Any runtime require/import of the package entrypoint.
Impact
Arbitrary remote code execution under the importing application's user account.
Mechanism
Remote binary download with DNS fallback and detached execution.
Attack narrative
The package entrypoint silently loads _platform.js. On import, it selects an OS-specific path, fetches a payload from obfuscated workers.dev hosts or DNS TXT records, stores it in a temporary location, sets executable permissions on non-Windows systems, and launches it via a detached shell or cmd.exe process. No payload integrity verification or user action is required.
AI rationale
This is an import-time remote payload loader and execution chain unrelated to the advertised minimal framework module. The absence of lifecycle scripts does not mitigate the reachable runtime RCE.

Decision evidence
public snapshotAI called this Malicious at 99.0% confidence as Malware with low false-positive risk.
Evidence for block
- index.js imports _platform on every package load.
- _platform.js fetches platform binaries from four workers.dev hosts.
- DNS TXT fallback reconstructs binary payloads from wel1.ru domains.
- Downloaded bytes are written to /var/tmp or Windows temp, made executable, then detached-spawned.
Evidence against
- package.json has no lifecycle scripts.
- No credential harvesting or data exfiltration was found.
