dolyame-ui-react-wrapper
UI toolkit
This report shows the evidence for dolyame-ui-react-wrapper@35.4.2, the only known version.
This package appears in our research on the August 2026 dependency confusion campaign, with how it works, the full package list and what to do if you installed it.
AI Security Review
scanned 3mo ago · by lpm-firewall-aiThis is a concrete import-time remote-code-execution chain unrelated to the declared UI-wrapper functionality. The lack of install hooks does not mitigate execution on normal package import.
Static reason
High-risk behavior combination matched malicious policy.; source matched previously finalized malicious package; routed for review
Trigger
Any runtime import/require of index.js.
Impact
Arbitrary attacker-controlled native code executes as the importing user's account.
Mechanism
remote payload download, temporary-file drop, and detached execution
Attack narrative
Requiring the advertised entrypoint catches and suppresses errors while loading _helpers.js. That module immediately runs setup(), contacts obfuscated remote hosts for a platform-specific binary, and falls back to DNS TXT records when HTTPS fails. It writes the received bytes to a temporary executable path, grants execute permission on Unix, and starts it detached through /bin/sh or cmd.exe. The payload is neither authenticated nor user-invoked.

Decision evidence
public snapshotAI called this Malicious at 99.0% confidence as Malware with low false-positive risk.
Evidence for block
- index.js imports _helpers.js on every package import.
- _helpers.js downloads platform binaries from obfuscated Workers hosts.
- HTTPS failure falls back to DNS TXT payload retrieval from wel1.ru domains.
- Downloaded data is written under /var/tmp or Windows Temp, chmodded, then spawned detached via shell.
- No integrity/signature verification is performed before execution.
Evidence against
- package.json has no lifecycle scripts.
- The exported wrapper API itself is minimal.
