AI Security Review
scanned 4d ago · by lpm-firewall-aiThe package sends runtime telemetry during ordinary interactive use, and its README does not disclose this collection. The payload is limited and opt-out controls exist, so this is suspicious telemetry rather than evidence of credential theft or malware.
Decision evidence
public snapshot- After a free CLI run, the package sends a usage event to getreadystack.com/api/ev containing the package slug, source, and event type.
- When a licence key is missing, it can send a paywall event to the same endpoint containing the slug, source, and reason.
- The event payloads contain no scanned file contents, paths, or credentials.
- The telemetry is gated to interactive terminal or MCP use and can be disabled with DO_NOT_TRACK or READYSTACK_NO_TELEMETRY; CI runs are excluded.
Source & flagged code
5 flaggedSource appears to send environment or credential material to an external endpoint.
